Howdy folks,
I've found two 404 windscreens in the Portland OR area. Dave at Eurocar,
http://home.teleport.com/~eurocar/ told me about a year ago he had one on a parts car that he would sell for $300 USD. The second was a place called Apple auto glass, (503) 230-1133, and I think she told me around the same price for a brand new windscreen. Luckily I found my parts wagon with a full set of perfect glass so I quit looking. To have apple glass come out and attempt to swap the cracked windscreen in my 68 with the good one from my parts car would cost around $160 USD. With no guarantee they won't break it of course.

Shipping from Oregon would probably cancel out any savings on price so you should probably get the one locally. I'm kind of bummed that I can't find a rubber windscreen gasket with the metal inlay. I've only been able to find gaskets without them. Too bad I like the way it looks with the metal.

Good luck.
