I have one of these contraptions which PSA says is the ONLY reliable way to tension the
Mi16 timing belt.
Mine went out of whack... they come with a tension test strip.
My test strip was 54 units while my tensioner was reading 43 units.
According to the manual it was time to return it to Seem, the manufacturer, in Nice Fr.
I pulled the unit apart and discovered 2 variable resistors. 100 ohms and 10K ohms
I turned the 100 ohm resistor until the unit and the test strip were in agreement.
Thus saving a voyage to Europe and back.
Bob's your uncle
