It's been so long....as I recall it's in the area below the center of the dash, to the passenger side. You'll need to pull off the piece of "rug"-covered plastic next to the passenger's left shoe. (That piece is amazingly flexible - seems like you're gonna break it in to, but that's never happened to me in 16 years of owning 405s.)
Maybe someone else can be more specific as to the ECU location.
