In Canada they just can't fill an ac system it must be checked with dye first
so this finds the leaks
then they have to install and adaptor to the fill valve
and then fill it
It is painless
There is no way you can find a leak w/o a sniffer
I have a Snap On sniffer and set of gauges

Mine was converted to R134 about three-and-a-half years ago, and would
really like to hear what it is that works loose before chasing down
