That workshop manual doesn't tell that for a PC7/PC8 differential. :-( Some
newer differentials may have (had) an aluminium plate saying it's an LSD and
needs special oil. Even if the plate is gone there still can be a fastening
rivet left. Here is a pic of it (haven't never seen one myself):

I've been told that you can test if it's a LSD by rotating the main shaft
and looking at the sides: if both sides rotates to the same direction it's
an LSD. I don't know how accurate that method is because I heard that even
with a non-LSD the behaviour is same??? Can someone tell a more accurate
method for testing or identifying it (without putting it to a car)?
