LSD I.D. made simple. 1. Peel out on dirt. and look at your tracks. A 505 diesel can drive rally style. ;) yehaw!

The best way is to jack up the rear, both wheels off the ground, chock the front of course. With the tranny in neutral and brake off, spin the wheel. If the opposite wheel turns in the same direction, you have limited slip. If the opposite wheel turns the opposing direction, you have an open differential, in otherwords: get you stuck fast.
