Chris:
I would go with the XD2S with a 5 speed in a 504. The drive line is the
most compatable. (You'll need to come up with an alternative centre console
arrangement.) Gives you improved milage, more power and quieter at higher
speeds. The XD2S has the reinforced cylinder head and blown head gaskets
are rare.
