Bob:
My friend John has 504's for one reason only, so he can drive in the
mountainous bush country of central British Columbia. He says nothing
matches the 504 for thrashing about in the bush, the car is narrower than a
505 and the approach and the departure angles are better on the 504 than the
505 which is really important going down and up steep inclines with tight
radii.
He has a deflector on the exhaust to keep it from tearing off! The 505 on
the other hand is better on the highway, so keep your low geared 504 for the
backroads and buy a 505 for cruising!
