Numerous 405MI16 owners have indicated familiarity with the clutch
cable link to their clutch pedal. Maybe someone can theorize what
happened here last week: [No work has been done on on my clutch for
at least 10,000m] yet when the pedal abruptly fell to the floor
(after some vigorous shifting) and forced me to restart and drive
home in 1st gear, all I had to do next day was pull up the clutch
pedal, then "click" and behold! everything has been normal since!
Divine Intervention isn't familiar in my vocabulary, but I am lying
in wait for the devil to show himself. Fred
