Re: [Peugeot-L] facia

Oh, boy! this is one of the horrors we are headed for, as cars get older, the plastic gets heat- and age-stressed -- and not just under the steering wheel! I have lost the use of the occasional screw hole (much nicer when it is just a widened hole, but I do have some broken tabs), but I have yet to lose enough to need to figure out how to reattach that piece so that it still will come off again!

Outside of replacement dash sections to which we may attach screws, all I can think of is keeping the broken parts and figuring out some way to glue them back on and then reinforce them either with a glue-like compound or/and cloth or wire mesh, then redrilling a new attachment hole. Am I getting too much like Rube Goldberg!?

Let's please have this whole discussion on list! Several of us will face this who haven't already.
