[Peugeot-L] diesel hybrid peugeot bound for US in 2007 ?

Just heard that Peugeot plans on launching its diesel hybrid in US markets in 2007. Apparently this was a market report on cable TV. Supposed to give amazing gas mileage. Related to me by my mechanic Tom Rogers, Annapolis VA.  

Now thats a new car that I would look forward to getting.
