Thanks for the off list replies. The instrument cluster just needed a little bit more finesse. The tabs holding the front portion were hanging up.

Now I have to do it again because on reassembly the warning lights on the right side don't work (temp, oil, stop, brake). Must have dislodged that connector putting it back in.

I'll respond on the tach & alternator suggestions as soon as I try them.

Still looking for an Electrical manual.
