Well done Chris,
I think I did one quite recently.. lots of grease etc but ok job in the end.. think i turned it
inside out..
re: glow plugs..
I finally got mine all out, connected them up and sprayed WD40 on each one in turn,
then earthed one at time.. and turned the key...
first, second and third very quickly got hot.. the fourth (blackend) did nothing..!
put one of yours in place of it, no problems...
car starts perfectly..
I think from now on I am going to do this test and only replace obviously bad plugs
instead of all of them.. The whole job only took 20 mins, after I had removed
intercooler..
