I've just bought a 95 405 TD. The previous owner said the immobiliser
had locked them out or refused the car to start so the garage bypassed
it.
The owners said do not use the central door locking remote (built into
the key) as this may disable the car again. They also removed the
batteries from the remote's so they could not accidentally be pressed.
The central locking from the key works, but I've not tried the remote.
I would like to get the remote locking, and preferably the immobiliser
as well working again.
Any ideas. Taking it to a Peugeot Garage is more than the car is worth!
