Yeah, you have to check. I got a brown windshield for my 604 and the rest of the car's glass was tinted blue........

these windshields are a little bit tinted in bronze = brown to reduce
sunlight and heat in the car. Normally the better equipped types at
Peugeot were generally equipped with bronze glass, partly they offered
clear, bronze AND green glass.
The COMPLETE screen is tinted in bronze, not only a stripe upside or so
like at clear screens with a blue stripe upside.
Anyway you must have a good eye to see the difference between clear and
bronze-tinted. They are not as dark as maybe in a Caddy Stretch-sedan
from Puff Daddy *smile*
At least just an advice: On the stamp in the screen there is a not with
"M42" or so, that is a sign for the type of tint in the screen. This
"M-Code" should be the same at your car´s screen

hello fellow peugeot lovers!
because of recently getting a "fix-it ticket" by the cops in
sacramento, i have to replace my windshield because of a crack-line in
it. my car is a 505 sti sedan. i can only find auto glasss shops
that can order a "bronze windshield" and i don't quite know what that
is. can anybody tell me if that would be a crazy completely bronze
tint all over the windshield or just a light one? i have no idea!
