I bought a 1975 504 sedan a few months ago. It was maintained
immaculately. I recently started running B99 biodiesel in it with no
problems. BEFORE this, I noticed a slight squeeling noise,
intermittant, coming from the area where the fan, vacume and other
belts converge by the right front under the hood. I spritzed some
WD-40 on it and it went away for a few hours. Then it returned, only
now it seemed as if a belt were slipping - the car began lurching when
going down the road. THe squeal returned with a vengence, and now the
car actually has a mind of its own: it will suddenly accelerate without
my foot on the gas, or I can gun it over and over and it won't respond
at all, not even to rev. Up hills, it completely boggs down and won't
go past 30 mph. Anyone shed any light on this trouble?
