First check that the acc cable is properly hooked up and tightened.
If you sprayed oil and the sound went away, it could be either the
belts or a vac leak. Check the belt tensions, then
remove the belts one by one, see which one is squeeling. As for
lurching, it could be fuel supply. How's the filter?
