The spring rates database is still under construction. I haven't actually
posted a spreadsheet onto the Aussiefrogs site yet. The info I have for a
Red Red Blue spring is that it's off an '84 GTi/GTDT 505 variant.
No. of coils: 7.25
Wire dia: 15.4mm
Spring mean dia: 120mm
Free length: 393mm
Rate /1000kg: 22.5
Length under a load of mm: 275mm
Length under a load of daN: 525mm
These are equivalent to Red Red Yellow branded springs. If anyone else has
any info on spring specs from any of the rear wheel drive Pugs, please post
it here or register with Aussiefrogs and post it on the forum at the link
below. Even if you just get under the car and note what colour springs you
have and post what make/model/variant/year etc. you have. Including what
region you are from would also be helpful.
