Thanks for the info on cavitation. I'm finding that there is a lot more to
diesels than I anticipated when I got one! After the oil discussion I
checked the Shell/Rotella site to find that their oil is available at a
truck stop about 15 miles away. Now back to the site
<http://www.rotella.com/products/> to discover they also have diesel
antifreeze. Description kind of answers some of my initial questions. I
do wonder how they formulate it with a nitrate inhibitor yet the product
contains no nitrate:
