Your project sounds very good indeed. It's going to be a potent little car that should be quite formidable.
If you need some donor seat frames let me know as I'm parting out a couple 505's in the next couple weeks. No nice seats for sale, but if they got redone they'd be fine. (With extra frames you could cut and modify as you needed.)
When you're all done you'll have to bring it down to Regina - we can slalom on the Kart track that was recently re-done (Think mini road course (.9KM)) next summer...

Peugeot is my second love.....er....only to the 1973 BMW 2002, which
of course is first.
I have started the long and expensive restoration/modification of a
car I bought in 1989 which will include:
1988 M3, S14 engine 192hp, 170ft/lbs torque ( I already own this)
5 speed(arranged)
Tii struts(still looking)
trailing arms from a '95 318Ti(in the welding shop) (ergo need 2 1/4"
longer springs)
5-bolt hubs front and rear(own)
CS Coupe 5-bolt, 5-spoke wheels with hub caps (own)
complete rusteration, including front clip, 1/4 panels, rockers, nose(
i'm starting to feel naucious)(still looking for good nose)
new interior, chrome (next year)
The rear spring rate target is about 200-220 lbs/inch, but I can live
with 220-235. The 505 STI springs I happend to find in my garage will
add the required french handleing DNA which I have always admired, and
pass on some good Pug stories to those high nosed german car guys...
any thought on using Pug insert for the front? I have them too, might
just as well try it....
I will soon need some good used Peugeot front seats from a 2 door car
so they will be able to tip forward. I have considered using 505 front
seats(best ones and most comfortable I can think of) but the mods may
end up destroying them.
Any ideas on Peugeot front seats? ...western canada?
