[Peugeot-L] Water Pump from 86 505TD - Can it be rebuilt?

Recently replaced the water pump on my 86 by *borrowing* the water pump from my 85 which has been sitting for a while now - waiting to have the IP replaced. Anyhow, I managed to pick up another water pump on ebay (fairly lucky $60) but was curious if the old pump could be rebuilt. It seems like it should be able to. If so, can anyone point me to where I may get a rebuild kit (would be nice to have a backup)  thanks.
