Just bring them with you, and you will find out if they're valid when
you get there.
The worst case scenario is: you pay about 7 or 8 Euros to get in, IIRC
from last month when I was there with my son. That won't break the
bank.....
I found the best stuff there was the older cars, like the 402 and
earlier. The newer car displays were VERY disappointing. They only
had one 505, an old Gendarmerie car.
Souvenirs/posters for post-1965 were totally absent, which is tragic!
However, there was a very nice 405 T 16 engine on display near the exit.
Ironically, the collection of newer cars was far superior in 1990, when
the museum was about 1/3 the size it is now...even in 1995 for that
matter. I thought now that the space had tripled, they'd have
virtually all their cars on display. Nope.
The biggest gap in their collection is the lack of a 1912-1914 GP
Peugeot. This was a monumental car, and why they are too cheap to pay
for one of the very few remaining ones, like the L3 bis model that was
in Road & Track back in the 1980s, I'll never know.
Nevertheless, it is worth seeing the Musée.
