Should we get a board set up as to whether this thing will go any higher on ebay
(currently $100)?
I have an old used Alpine car alarm and I am wondering if and how it can wired in,
to gain the the door lock/unlock function with their remote. The alpine manual does
not have a wiring diagram, as they seem very stingy with wiring info, but I've
managed to piece together some wire identifications off of the web. There's about
twenty wires. I still can't make heads or tails of it, but I am trying. The wire
identifications that I have are jibberish to me, at this point, as far as door lock/unlock
is concerned.
Is it doable?
I'm thinking of somehow tying into the wiring near the dome light where the plip
brain resides. There's four wires going into it, and I still need to mesh everything, as
far as which ones get connected where. I have the 505 electrical manual, which tells
me what those four do, but I am still in the dark.
Has anybody ever played around with this stuff?
