Same thing happened to me in NYC. Racked up too many parkng tickets on
my 86 505 sedan. Paid $500 for the car and the fees above $900. So, I
washed my hands of that, found an 88 505 GLS Wagon which I love, and
haven't heard from the police state in almost two years. And
considering that they can't collect from me until they sell the car at
auction and get through their red tape, I saved $400!
