Well I am familiar with what are saying. This was MUCH worst than just a bit of emulsified oil on the underside of the filler cap.

The whole of the oil filler neck and all the breather pipes attached to it were jammed full of it. The filler neck was so full you could not top up the oil.

I ended up scooping most of it out with the spoon the apprentice uses to eat his pot noodles with :-)

Anyway I'll let the wife use it for a few days and see what happens.

There are no bubbles coming up in the water and its not pressurising really badly.

I guess its just not something I come across as most of the vehicles I service never suffer from anything like this and this is the first French car we have ever had.
