Be absolutely certain that the swirl chambers are removed prior to milling, there is a very specific procedure in the workshop manual on this. If the head is not warped, do not waste your time or money. The spec is to resurface when warpage reaches 0.006". Minimum thickness of head after surfacing is 89.45mm. The swirl chambers protrusion is reestablished by turning on a lathe and removing material from the back (inside). Reinstall using a press.
