Hi all

Well the wife put about 300 miles on the clock Saturday and the overflow bottle for the rad is about an inch of water down. I can't see an obvious leak anywhere. There is a bit of emulsified oil appeared in the filler again but not much.

I am going to leave the head alone and just do the cam belt and water pump when I give it a service this week. Although its got a FSH I can find no documentation that says when or if its ever had the cam belt changed.

I am assuming that because its started rubbing on the top plastic cover I should change it. Whilst I have it on the ramp I will take the oil filler off and all the associated pipes and give them a good clean out.

Been noticing of late that its very reluctant to start when hot unless you stand on the throttle. You then need to rev it quite hard for a few seconds to get the thing to not splutter and cough and die. Is this also normal?
