Do yall remember "Everybody's All-American" with Dennis Quaid and Jessica
Lange? Towards the end of the movie, the "Gray Ghost's" (Dennis Quaid) best
friend(played by Timothy Hutton) came to visit with his "modern woman" girl
friend played by Patricia Clarkson ( now fairly well known and with an Oscar
nomination under her belt and one of my favorite actresses as she is my cousin
and also from New Orleans where her mother is the city councilwoman for the
French Quarter and Algiers), and they drove a late model 504, probably a '78 or
'79; but yet the neatest thing is they were the intellectuals and drove a Peugeot.
If I remember correctly, Taylor Hackford directed the movie.
