No, its not just you. Personally, I think the styling of the current
crop of Peugeots is bloody awful. That gaping grille has to go. I
do like the styling of the 1007 (not a Peugeot effort), the 607 is
passable (but it is so bland, it looks like an Acura) and the 407 SW
is okay. I like the 207, apart from the front end. The 307 is
stodgy. I agree with Mike Tippett - the Citroen C-Crosser (a SUV for
cross dressers?) is quite nice, while the 4007 is ugly - the nose
wrecks it.
I think Peugeot's greatest styling effort in recent years was the 406
coupe. I saw plenty of them in New Zealand. The red ones look like
Ferraris.
The new Citroens look great, especially the C4 and C6. Incidentially,
the C6 is getting great reviews, even from Clarkson. Apparently, it
is the best large French car in decades. I wish I could get one here.
