As with any turbo, you want to minimize restriction for optimum performance / mileage - so if you can afford something like a Magnaflow great, but if not a Walker Dynamax Super Turbo muffler have a nice sound and not too expensive...
A stock 505 gas Turbo rear muffler might work nice too...
Since it's a turbo the chance of it sounding "ricey" isn't as likely since the turbo muffles the sound quite a bit as is, so a performance muffler still might work.
Good luck!

Is it wrong to assume that some other manufacturer made the Peugeot stock
muffler for them?
if so,then we just need to know who it is ;)
I may try the Bosal, not really into the rice rocket sound (plenty of them
around here though), but price difference
is pretty significant. WH lists XD3T for almost $200 (more than that with
tax...ouch!)
Anyhow, I doubt the muffler sound will drown out the sound of my diesel
engine, rattles and wind noise.
btw, I have two NOS mufflers (one is xd2s and the other 504 gas) sitting
around that I'd be happy to trade someone for a nice XD3t muffler!
Almost afraid to ask, but what would happen (besides slightly restricted
flow) if I just used the xd2s instead? (assuming it fits)
remember...there is no such thing as a dumb question ;P
