I noticed this "one prior owner in Maine, always garaged" 1984 505S TD station wagon on eBay Motors:

I am pretty sure that it's one I formerly owned, actually the first Peugeot I ever owned. Notice the perfect paint, seats and dash. I suppose others could be that good also. But I doubt anyone else used the same non-OEM red heater hose under the hood, and even more distinctive is the unusual routing of the hoses from the overflow tank to the water pump and the radiator vent. [I ran them that way to clean up the engine bay somewhat when I replaced the cylinder head.] If it is my old one, it will have a small dent in the front of the hood; somewhat suspiciously, the lister does not have any photos of the front of the vehicle with the hood down, though he seems to have photographed it from every other angle. The reason it has no cruise control is that it was broken, and I never use cruise anyway, so rather than fix it I simply took the control stalk out altogether because I kept banging it with my knee. That non-Peugeot amber switch below the driver's side window switch on the center console (you can bar
ely see it, through the steering wheel in the fifth large picture) controls two extra fans I put in to duct more heat/a/c to the rear seat. The antenna mast is a non-OEM, fixed unit to replace the broken auto unit.
The fellow claims it's a one-owner car, but if I'm right, it's had at least four owners. I was the third; I bought it around 1996 at about 73k, and sold it (on this list) about four years later, at about 100k, to a fellow named Kevin who lived in Maine. I thought it later ended up with Brian Holm, but perhaps not, or perhaps the eBay lister bought it from Brian.
None of this is to run the car down; it was a perfectly nice wagon, and the cylinder head replacement and a steering rack replacement were the only major repairs it required that I know of. But a one-owner, always-garaged-in-Maine car it ain't.
If I'm right. Which I think I am. My baby....
