Hi
I had the alternator in my 604TD rebuilt by Hite Parts Exchange in Columbus Ohio. The price was around $80 plus shipping, and they actually rebuilt it by 1pm the day they got it. I've put about 1500 miles on the alternator and it seems fine.

They also have some auctions up on ebay, just search under peugeot alternators.

Took exquisite care of our two Peugeots for years. We had an opportunity to show our appreciation - when he was in 'dire straits,' we gave him our '86 turbo gas wagon. BTW, it was not his first Peugeot.
