I have to part with one of my 505s, as I have moved and now have just
one garage space.
I'm offering free to a good home my 1984 505 STI 5 spd (about 185K).

The car ran beautifully until this August, when the tachymetric fuel
pump relay failed, causing the car to stall as soon as the relay got
too hot. I replaced the faulty relay, which eliminated the problem of
stalling. But now a new problem has appeared, or rather an old one
has reappeared: the car will start only when cold. If you run it,
then leave it for 10 minutes or more, it will not start until it has
sat for at least 3 hours. The problem is probably the fuel
accumulator, which is part of the main fuel pump assembly. Also, the
car misses, as if one spark plug were faulty, but this symptom, too,
may be traceable to the fuel pump.
