White and pretty darn clean. 128K.
The good:
- Interior is in very nice shape, dark grey leather kept well-lubed.
- Nokian RSI studless snows mounted on very nice '91 Mi16 15" rims,
used one season.
- Almost new Sumitomo HTR 200 summer tires mounted on original '89
Mi16 14" rims.
- Glass Euro headlights (soon to be no longer available from
Disortex, if not already).
- New windshield, timing belt, water pump, fuel lines.
- Aftermarket high-power Sony cassette deck w/ excellent speakers
replacing OEM all around. Huge difference in sound.
- All those myriad annoying little 405 issues have all been sorted
out.
The not-so-good:
- 4th gear synchro is no longer behaving - careful shifting is
required there (it's not the end of the world though - I've been
driving it that way daily for close to a year now).
- The heater core is just starting to emit that characteristic
coolant smell.
My mechanic (Peugeot-trained!) has offered to replace the heater
core in exchange for the headlights, if you'd rather have a new core
instead of the hard-to-find glass headlights.
