An XN6 that is a little stumbly under light throttle at low speed is usually
dirty injectors

The last time I worked on this car a year ago, the motor was turbine
smooth through all the gears. Now not so much....the best way to
describe it is a bit ragged, and there is a slight miss when starting
out in a gear, a hesitaion. When I accel hard on the highway in 5th,
it also has the same symptoms
Mileage is 400k+
I think the vac advance is working, even though I have a basic timing
light, when I rev the motor, the timing mark goes far to the left. Does
this mean it's working? The timing is bang on( at idle)
So, aprt from new plugs, wires, dis cap, is there anything else I
should be looking at? O2 sensor perhaps?
BTW it starts right away, idles well and doesn't smoke ever, or use any
coolant.
