The general opinion here in Greece, a Peugeot hot-bed, is that the 206
is a very average car. That's a lot of trouble to go through for a 206,
maybe if it was a 407 coupe.

Perhaps best way to get 206 in North AMerica is to buy one from
Mexico, bring it to Texas. Forget it in a police station parking
lot. Then when they have registered it then buy it back.
