While in the process of changing all belts on my 504 diesel, I remove
the radiator. I have driven the car about 2,000 miles and it runs nice
and cool, although temp needle creeps up just a little at 70 mph. In
the top neck of radiator I find a six point, 1/2" drive Snap on impact
socket, effectively limiting the flow of coolant to the 1/2" hole. How
does that happen?... Malpractice suit?...Things like this are too
stupid to make up...and besides I have all the sockets that I need!
I will consider putting socket on eBay if anyone in the group wants
to plug their radiator.
