I Guess it depends on how you drive. I only get 25 to 27 MPG out of my Mini S. around town, so the 325e getting 24 was pretty good. Im sure it be higher on the express way. I can get the Mini up to about 32 to 35 on the E way. But thats usually going 80 to 90 mph.    

  Plus Eta parts are fairly cheap, and any engine part can be found at the Local U pull it with all the 528e with auto transmission that have died. And the 318 body parts are the same so pickings are good.

And to show you how outdated that is, (and how useless the eta engine is in my opinion)...my 1998 BMW 540i 6-speed (with a 285hp 4.4 liter V8) gets 26 mpg.
