OnI've taken the 1980 505 SD automatic out of storage while the 92 SW8 is
being painted.....what a differnt animal, but that's a whole story!
But back to the Veglia clock, it stopped working long ago, the only
brown gear in its mechanism had turned to crumbs.
So, the thought is to put a modern battery powered clock behind the face
of the orignal.
I'd thought a trip to the local drugstore should yield a fair number of
small clocks whose innards might be suitable. Anybody done this?
BTW the SW8 will probably be put up for sale.
