A minor nuisance that I'd like to fix: the retractor on my Mi16 "automatic" lap belt retracts slowly or incompletely. It takes a hard pull to get enough out to connect to the traveler (if already connected to the traveler, the traveler often doesn't latch properly). When released, the belt will leave a few inches to a foot or two not retracted.
Anyone know how to lube this thing (without leaving stains on the belt)? Or, can I swap it with the passenger-side lap belt since I rarely have passengers?
