[Peugeot-L] FS: 89 505 "T" Wagon, Danielson head, and where's JJG?

Hi Koll,

Thanks for the compliments. I have cc'd the list for the benefit of all.

The Danielson head was purchased from

http://www.danielson-equipement.com/

I dealt with René at danielson.equipement@wanadoo.fr. He was very helpful. The cost was about 1800. Probably close to 2K not counting labor when all was said and done. I think I may have bought the last one in existence in the world.

The head gasket I used was the Genuine "Danielson" head gasket. It was CLEARLY superior to all the other gaskets (see the pics). It was made by Curty. I tried to get more of these and I could not. I even tried Curty direct. Unless anyone has found a source since did my research, I truly did buy the very last one of these head gaskets in existence.

Yes, After many many years I am leaving the Peugeot scene. After about 5 years knowing I did not have enough time for the car but refusing to let her go, she sat waiting for the day I could devoted her some more attention.

As for why I don’t post anymore.... Since I went "undercover" some 5 years ago a lot has happened. I left my job and started my own business. I opened an office in the Philippines with a dozen or so programmers.

I bought an incredibly sweet Mako boat.

Then started a charter business to fuel my new passion of continental shelf, offshore, big game, tuna, "Canyon" fishing.

While my team in the Philippines was slow, I had them build an eCommerce and Job site for spinoff businesses.

If all of the above was not enough, 2 days ago I put a deposit down on a brand new Black on Black Mercedes SLK Coupe that is wearing a sweet Chrysler shell and comes with lifetime Warranty.

That will make 6 cars in my stable and something had to give. My "There will be time for Peugeot" denial had to end. This fine car deserves to be driven.

Best regards and Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hi John, email here.

How come we haven't heard you on the list?! You've done all that nice work in secret!

Very, very nice car.

I don't have a need for a wagon, but if I did. Plus, I'm on the other side of the country in Seattle. But if I did, I'd buy that car in a heartbeat. That's a generous price considering what you've done.

I have a couple of questions for you if you have a second...

  1. How much does a Danielson head cost? Where do you get one?
  2. Which HG did you go with? Cost? Source?

Thanks John. Are you leaving the Peugeot scene or do you have other ones you're keeping?
