The rebuild is finished. It was a long process but it was worth every second and dollar. Now i have a nice fresh motor to work with. It's nice to know that it has all been done right, and at least if it hasn't, i know HOW it's been done. ;-)
It was difficult to remember where all the electrical connections went and of course i lost a few bolts along the way that had to be replaced. It pays to keep really organized when doing this kind of work... But it's also difficult because no matter how hard you try, things always get a little mixed up along the way. And... please remember to tighten the bolts that hold the camgear on the camshaft. Those are quite important... and if you forget to tighten them sufficiently, the car won't sound too happy when the load shifts back and forth on that timing chain. Dont ask me how i know, just look through the pictures.
